IP44 Installation Guidance
IP44 provides splash protection but is not equivalent to an IP67 sealed or submersible product. Outdoor plugs, dimmers, controllers and extension connections require suitable weatherproof enclosures. The power supply, total connected load, attachment method and local electrical requirements should be verified before permanent or public-space installation.
